Which one specifically of these are you using?
S3 Twister S3 integrated graphics (PN133/T, KN133) ( VT8603 VT8606 VT8362 )

I think the latest version of BeOS Max has them enabled.
Lets look at the bebits website...

http://www.bebits.com/app/2787

Try this one yet?
The fallback is the VESA driver which is very good if your system is fast enough to handle the extra load it creates :)

That, the KN-133 Chipset. On a Notebook, Uniwill N-341 C-2.

Should work then. Looks like the latest version of BeOS Max has the S-3 drivers
too. From the release notes:
- Graphics Driver for S3
S3 Savage3D, Savage3D-MV, Savage/MX, Savage/MX-MV, Savage4
VIA ProSavage PM133, PL133, PN133, KM133, KL133, KN133, KM266

Use BeOS MAx then since it has the Athlon patch included and enabled.

Your Signature-Marker is broken. There's no Space after "--". It should
be "-- ".
